The fine print, simplified
AI Usage
Partner discounts apply to workspace fees only. Included AI usage stays the same at every rate, and overage bills at Kilvin’s cost plus 25%.
Sandboxes
For building and demos only: up to 3 users and $10 of AI usage each, archived after 60 days without activity. A sandbox a client starts using for real work becomes a live workspace.
Ownership
Clients own their data and can export it any time. You own the app code you build for clients and can export it.
Term
Month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. Annual prepay takes 10% off workspace fees at the standard partner rate.
Live workspace
Any workspace a client uses for real work, or that holds client production data.
Support
You handle first-line support for your clients. Kilvin handles platform issues and your escalations within 24 hours on weekdays. Kilvin doesn’t maintain partner-built apps unless you buy managed maintenance.
If a partnership ends
The client can stay on Kilvin at the suggested client price or move to another partner. Whoever takes the client on takes ownership of the code.
